Alam Jiwo sits just 10 minutes from town, close enough to dip in, far enough to feel removed. Karimunjawa’s main strip has more going on than you’d expect: local warungs, pizzerias, beach bars with live music, and the kind of easy evening atmosphere that only exists in places that haven’t been overdeveloped. It’s a good night out without the effort of going far. We’ll point you in the right direction or arrange the shuttle.

Scheduled Flights (Fastest & Recommended)

The quickest way to reach Karimunjawa is by air. Year-round flights operate between Semarang and Karimunjawa every Friday, Sunday and Monday. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes, with panoramic views of the Java Sea and Karimunjawa archipelago. Upon arrival, our team will greet you and transfer you to Alam Jiwo. 

Private Charter Flight (Most Exclusive)

For the utmost flexibility and comfort, private charter flights can be arranged directly to Karimunjawa. Ideal for families, groups, special celebrations, or guests seeking a seamless arrival, charter travel offers the most exclusive way to reach the island. Fast Ferry

A modern high-speed ferry connects Jepara on mainland Java with Karimunjawa. The crossing takes approximately 2.5 hours, showcasing turquoise waters and island scenery. Our guests can access the VIP section, featuring air conditioning and television facilities. For added ease, Alam Jiwo can arrange private transfers between Semarang Airport and Jepara Harbour.

Via Semarang

Most guests travelling within Indonesia arrive through Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang. Daily direct flights connect Semarang with major cities including Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, and Yogyakarta, making it the principal gateway to Karimunjawa. As well as direct flights from Singapore. From Semarang, guests may continue by scheduled flight, private charter, or fast ferry. From the moment you begin planning your stay, our concierge team can arrange flights, ferry tickets, private transfers, and personalised assistance to ensure a smooth arrival at Alam Jiwo.

How do I make a reservation?

Scheduled flights operate three times a week from both Semarang (SRG) and Yogyakarta (JOG) direct to Karimunjawa — the easiest option for most guests. We can also arrange seats on charter flights when available. Alternatively, travel to Jepara Port and cross by fast ferry (2 hours). Your transfer from the airport or ferry port is included in your stay — we’ll coordinate everything once you’ve booked.

All stays include daily breakfast (served in the restaurant or at your villa), airport or ferry port transfer, kayaks, a welcome gift box on arrival, water, tea, coffee in-room, and a welcome drink.

Check-in is from 2:00 PM. Check-out is by 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability — just let us know and we’ll do our best.

Absolutely. We welcome families and can arrange extra beds for children on request. The Family Villa and Main House are particularly well suited.

A maximum of 22 guests across the entire resort. This means you’ll never feel crowded — the pool, beach, and shared spaces always feel like yours.
